Vermont Summer Jazz Camp 2010 U-32, Montpelier, Vermont

• Vermont Summer Jazz Camp 2010 - Monday, July 19 through Friday, July 23

VSJC will run for 5 days [Monday - Friday] from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. with a 7:00 p.m. performance on Friday evening. The session will include some of the following activities:

• large ensemble rehearsal / performance
• small combo rehearsal / performance
• improvisation workshop
• jazz theory / ear training
• jazz history

Emphasis is placed on non-threatening improvisation.
The cost per student, $225, includes all activities, a Jazz Camp T-Shirt, and CD recording of the evening performance.
There is a $25 discount for early registration - before June 1.

Partial scholarships are available.
Multiple registrations from the same family will also be discounted.

A professional staff of wonderful teachers and a low student to teacher ratio, insures a meaningful experience for all campers. VSJC Staff includes Keith Gibson, Brian Boyes, Roger Grow, and VSJC founder Tom Cate. (See the Staff Page for full teacher bios.)
This years' VSJC will be a combined High School/Middle School experience, so the learning and playing will be very exciting!
