For 14 years the VSJC has been a leader in summer jazz camps, and many of the top high school jazz musicians in Central Vermont gained valuable playing experience at the VSJC.
This year, we are excited to offer our new Jazz Vocal Camp! Led by some of Vermont's leading jazz singers and directors, it promises to be a week to remember. Tom Cate studied music in Los Angeles, California before coming to Vermont, where he has taught for the past 33 years, 26 of those years at U-32. A clarinet and saxophone performer, he has played in jazz, classical and rock groups and founded the VSJC 14 years ago.
