Composer, Performer, and Instructor Keith Gibson is a graduate of Berklee College of Music and has done graduate work at the Boston Conservatory. For two years he studied privately with percussion master Alan Dawson.
His Boston-based band euJAZZ performs his original as well as standard jazz, R&B, and calypso music. Keith's national performance credits include Branford Marsalis, Melba Moore, Jon Faddis, and Barry Harris. Other perfomances include the John Coltrane Memorial Concert, Boston Globe Jazz Festival, Nelson Mandela's Release Party, Stepin' Out, WGBH-TV's Say Brother and, in France, the Toulon Jazz Festival.
With teaching experience in Cambridge MA, Central Vermont, and the "Vermont MIDI Project," Keith is the current band director at Twinfield Union School. He also offers group and private instruction in performance, theory, and composition to students of all ages.
